We follow the recommended guidelines from the association of addictions medicine. If you are under the age of 60, have no co-occurring disorders, and have not experienced a seizure from prior alcohol withdrawal you are safe to withdraw in your home.
We service most states in the United States. Our primary service areas are: California, Texas, Arizona, South Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, and Florida.
Many of our clients identify as being high-functioning individuals with alcoholic and substance use disorders and typically would benefit from having services provided in the home as opposed to going elsewhere for treatment. Some clients are also in the public eye and would benefit from the privacy of this service.
On occasion, withdrawal symptoms can be more acute than anticipated. The in-home nurse will actively assess symptoms in real time and communicate with the supervising physician. As with detox inpatient programs, if a higher level of care is determined necessary then the referral to a local Emergency Department will be made.
