How It Works

Concierge Home Detox connects you with an expert addiction detox team—all in the comfort and privacy of your home. Our approach is entirely personalized; we’ll work with you and your family to ensure you have all the resources you need to recover.

Step 1: Consultation

During the initial consultation, we will discuss your addiction challenges, medical history, mental health history, and goals. The initial consultation is designed to understand everything about you so that we can provide the best possible service.

Step 2: Scheduling

Don’t let a busy schedule or lifestyle hinder your recovery. Unlike many traditional inpatient detox programs, our solution entirely centers around you. Our team will also interact with your physician to create a personalized care plan, and we can provide a physician referral if you need one.

Step 3: Supervised Detox

24/7 medical supervision lasts at least five days, but it can be extended if you need more care or support. Detoxing at home is safer and more effective with our highly qualified team of addiction experts and healthcare professionals. Every member of our team has a unique skill set that allows you to feel safe and supported while you detox in the privacy of your home. We perform clinical assessments to determine withdrawal symptoms, monitor your health, and administer medications as needed.

Austin has been working in the addiction treatment industry for over 9 years as well as facilitating in-home detoxes. He has worked in medical and psychiatric emergency departments across the United States such as the Medical Center for South Carolina. Austin worked in a business development role for CareRev, a digital healthcare start-up company. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he entered recovery in 2013. Since being in recovery, he has sat on multiple non-profit boards, been an advocate for collegiate recovery programs, and operated a sober-living residence.

He is also a Founder and Co-Owner of The Strathmore House transitional living program for men in Boston, MA. He was the Executive Director of Turnbridge extended care for young adult males with addictions in New Haven, CT. He previously worked as the Chief Development Officer for the O’Connor Professional Group that provides intensive case management services for addiction and behavioral health issues in Boston, MA. He was also the Executive Director and founding member of Hopewell Recovery Services continuing care for men and women with addiction and mental health issues in Boston.

Transitioning from being a small business owner in construction, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emmanuel College in Boston and his real estate license. Josh’s real-life business experience combined with leadership skills in the recovery community has led to his success in the addiction treatment field.
